Here’s a unique concept – combining ayurveda and timeshare. This project is being implemented in Kerala state of India.

Kandamkulathy Vaidyasala will develop 15 air conditioned family cottages of approximately 750 sq feet each, and sell the ownership of these cottages to private parties. “We will target inbound as well as domestic tourists, and offer different types of treatment packages designed on the basis of illness. It will be an authentic Ayurvedic resort, which maintains high standards,” says KP Wilson, Managing Director, Kandamkulathy Group.

The group will charge around Rs 25 lakh per cottage for ownership. In lieu, the group will provide Rs 20,000 as monthly income, for 65 per cent utilisation of the cottage. Investors will have ownership of the cottage, as well as four cents of land. Besides these, the resort will offer facilities such as Ayurvedic centres, treatment rooms, yoga/meditation centre, herbal garden, jogging track, swimming pool, indoor (as well as outdoor) games, restaurant, banquet hall, handicraft shop and high speed internet. Presently, the group is seeking investors for selling these cottages.
